echotribe

This is Phil, we are back in the U.S. It’s great to be back but it was very difficult to leave Taiwan. We will very soon be uploading pics and videos of our trip. I personally was blown away at the response of the people of Taiwan. We are so thankful to the youth at Djutien and Pastor Su, the Church in Neipu and Pastor Yea, and the Church in ChauJho and Tracy for all of her help. You all blessed us through your open hearts and hands. To the students at MeiHo, and Ping Ke Da… you are awesome, it was so fun to rock out with you all, I really look forward to doing it again sometime. I want to give a special thanks to the wonderful people who traveled with us and helped us with the language and the culture. I’m thinking of Sam, Eman, Eric, Tracy, Nina, and of course Michael Haggard and his wife Sandy who really made the whole trip possible.

Update from Taiwan

Today we hung out at Meiho college in Taiwan where we got to meet about 150 students in the English foreign language program. We had the privelage of listening to Meiho’s basketball coach sing Karaoke to “here comes the sun” by the beetles - - Amazing! we played a couple of acoustic versions of Echotribe tunes unplugged and it went great.

Then Jon and I (blake) threw down on the B-ball court. Mainly Jon as I suck at B-ball, but act like I’m good so that I divert attention away from Jon (who then makes the baskets because he actually has a few skills lying around). After that we had local tea and then walked around the streets of Taiwan at night market. We’ll try and put some photos up if we can soon. Peace!
